The school day begins at 9.15am and finishes at 1.55pm (infants)/ 2.45pm/2.55pm (1st-6th). The school bell rings at 9.15am and we welcome children to the school grounds at 9.00am. Supervision is provided on the front and back yards from 9.00am onwards and not prior to this time.
If a child is late for school, the child must be accompanied to the classroom door by an adult.
Junior Infants will finish at 12.00pm daily up until Friday, 12th September. Junior Infants will finish school at 1.55pm beginning on Monday, 15th September.
The school operates a Drop and Go and Pick Up and Go system at opening and closing times. Parents may arrive at any time from 9.00am - 9.15am. We will continue with a staggered home time for pupils in 1st to 6th Class. Please arrive as close as possible to your designated time of collection.
School Transport Scheme services operated by Bus Éireann on behalf of the Department will operate. Please follow guidelines as set out by your bus driver. Children on the bus will leave the school at 2.55pm.
Children are to be dropped at the school and it is good practice that the children would be allowed to make their own way to their classroom. All classes will enter the school via the main front door and make their way to their class from there.
Junior & Senior Infants class (Ms. Falvey) will remain the same classroom. First Class (Mr. Goodwin) will now be in Ms. Kenny’s former classroom. Second Class (Ms. Lynch) will be located in the prefab at the rear of the school. Third Class (Ms. Sheehan) will be taught in the hall. Fourth Class (Ms. O’ Sullivan) will be taught in Ms. O’ Sullivan’s classroom. Fifth & Sixth Class (Mr. Corkery) will be taught in Mr. Corkery’s classroom. Children in Mrs. Joy’s Class and Ms. Breen’s Class will be welcomed to school each morning by allocated staff members and accompanied to their yard to play before the bell rings.
