We love to celebrate our pupils’ birthdays in a simple and inclusive way. If it is appropriate to do so, we mark the occasion by singing Happy Birthday in class. During the final assembly of each month, the Principal mentions all the birthdays for that month and the children’s photos are added to our special birthday display.

To keep things fair and safe for everyone, we ask that arrangements for birthday parties and invitations are made outside of school hours.

We also ask parents not to send in sweets or cake for sharing as we cannot distribute them due to allergy risks and to support our Healthy Eating Policy.

This way, birthdays are still special for each child while keeping our school a happy, safe and healthy place for everyone.
